LGBT Activities in Middlesbrough keeps people up to date with LGBT events and activities in Middlesbrough and the North East. North Northumberland Women's Network provides support to help local women achieve their goals and to play an active part in the local economy and community.
If you have been affected by any of the issues raised in our performances you may find the following sites useful: ChildLine is the free helpline for children and young people in the UK. Children and young people can call 0800 1111 to talk about any problem.
Lesbian Line (Newcastle) provides information and offers counselling and support to women who identify as lesbian, bisexual or any woman who is questioning her sexuality.
The Miscarriage Association provides support and information for those suffering the effects of pregnancy loss. The NSPCC (National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children) is the UK's leading charity specialising in child protection and the prevention of cruelty to children.

provides advice and gives an effective voice to Britain's two million lone
parents and their children. PANAH is a Black Women's Refuge which also provides a confidential outreach service and 24-hour emergency service, all developed, managed and staffed by Black women for Black women.
Parentline Plus
works to offer advice and support to parents through an innovative range of
free, flexible, responsive services - shaped by parents for parents.
Rights of Women works to attain justice and equality by informing, educating and empowering women on their legal rights. Shelter believes everyone should have a home. They help people find and keep a home. They campaign for decent housing for all. Tyneside Rape Crisis Centre is an organisation run by women for women which provides information, support and counselling for women aged 16 or over who have been raped or sexually abused. Victim Support helps people cope with the effects of crime by providing confidential support and information to victims of crime and to witnesses attending local courts. Women's Aid works to end domestic violence against women and children. They support a network of over 500 domestic and sexual violence services across the UK.
Freedom Programme - A twelve week programme providing information about domestic violence to men and women.

Open Clasp are a member of the Independent Theatre Council, the UK's leading management association for the performing arts, representing around 700 organisations across the UK. Newcastle CVS (NCVS) supports voluntary organisations and voluntary action in Newcastle upon Tyne by providing a range of services and projects. VONNE (Voluntary Organisations’ Network North East) is the regional voluntary and community sector infrastructure organisation for North East England. It facilitates links between voluntary and community groups and other relevant bodies, and promotes the role and potential of the sector in regional matters.
