We're recruiting for a Creative Producer

After four and a half year of taking Open Clasp to new heights, from Edinburgh to New York, working nationally and internationally, Jill Heslop, our brilliant Creative Producer now needs time to breathe, think and discover.  Jill will be leaving Open Clasp in August this year and (funding permitted) re-join the company through a PhD in Women's Studies at York University looking at the impact of Open Clasp's work on personal, social and political change.

We are now looking for a woman with exceptional entrepreneurial and producing skills to join our team at this exciting time for the company. The Creative Producer will work with our staff team and Board of Trustees, being responsible for planning, developing and implementing strategies to increase the artistic, social and financial value of the company.

Salary: The NJC banding for this post is SO2, SCPs 32 – 34 with a salary of £28,485 - £30,153

Full Time: 37 hrs

Open Clasp is at a unique moment in its history. Having taken our work to new heights, achieving great success with Key Change at the Edinburgh Fringe and off-Broadway in 2015-16, our work has been catapulted onto a national and global stage, taking the marginalised female voices and the artistic excellence of the North to new audiences and decision makers, demonstrating the power of theatre and championing the stories and creativity of the region on a major scale.

If you can provide the expertise we are looking for, we really want to hear from you. Please download Full Application Pack here or email Mary at recruitment@openclasp.plus.com.

Due to the nature of our work the post is open to women only (exempt under the Equality Act 2010 Schedule 9, Part 1).

The closing date for applications is 12 noon on Wednesday 24 May, 2017

Interviews will be held at the West End Women and Girls Centre, Newcastle upon Tyne on the 7 June 2017.
