Our new Project - Generation XX
Open Clasp's new project is underway.
Generation XX aims to raise awareness and make a positive difference to the lives of older women in the North East. Drama workshops are underway with approximately 100 women from 10 groups, allowing women a safe space to reflect on their experiences, to identify any issues or areas of concern, and to celebrate strengths and achievements.
The workshops will directly inform and inspire a script, which will lead to a a brand new piece of theatre, which will celebrate the lives and experiences of older women in the North East, and highlight the issues impacting on their lives. This will tour regionally in February and March 2012.
