Company Development Manager

Carly McConnell is migrating to be our Creative Producer, so award-winning women’s theatre company Open Clasp are now looking to appoint a new Company Development Manager to join our team at a very exciting time for the company! Winners of the Best of Edinburgh Award in 2015, the Carol Tambour Prize and a New York Times Critic’s Pick following their run off-Broadway with the critically-acclaimed ‘Key Change’ in 2016, the Company Development Manager must thrive under the varied responsibilities of this fast-paced office.

You will need exceptional organisational and financial management skills, working with colleagues to fund and deliver ambitious projects, building resilience and maximising the company’s current successes.

This is a unique opportunity for an enterprising and creative individual who is motivated to join a thriving company making risk-taking and powerful theatre for discussion and debate. You will need strength, skill and a sense of humour.

Due to the nature of our work the post is open to women only (exempt under the Equality Act 2010 Schedule 9, Part 1).

Open Clasp is part of Arts Council England’s National Portfolio of Funded Organisation.

Salary: NJC Scale SO2 (32 – 34) £28,485 – £30,153 pro rata

This post is part time: minimum 28 hours per week. We are open to Job Share and flexible working for the right candidate.
