Work With Us

There are lots of ways you can work with Open Clasp - we provide tours of our productions, drama workshops for your groups and can also provide interesting stimulus for your conference or event.

Tours

Performances

Producing and touring pieces of entertaining, funny, thought-provoking and relevant theatre to a wide variety of venues is a large part of what Open Clasp does. You can find out how Open Clasp's plays are created here and access a pdf about Open Clasp's performances and tours here

Open Clasp's shows to date are After Her Death, Falling Knives & Runaround Wives, Stand 'n' Tan, Tonic, A Twist of Lemon, Rattle & Roll and BlueGiro.

Most years, Open Clasp tour a big show around the North East region (and sometimes beyond), usually in February and March.

The plays produced by Open Clasp are not only entertaining but also address a wide variety of social issues in an engaging and accessible way. The performances, which can also be immediately followed by drama workshops at community venues, are a really effective way to raise awareness of important and difficult issues with your service users and/ or members of your community. This can happen by hosting your own performance - we can take the professional theatre experience to most large halls with a high ceiling, level access and a good electricity supply - or by taking a group to see the show at a mainstream venue.

Details of upcoming tours as well as all technical specifications for venues can be found on this website, or if you would like to talk to us about a show, please contact Roma Yagnik on 0191 2724063. You can also email Roma directly at roma@openclasp.plus.com.
