A few months ago, our Artistic Director, Catrina McHugh was nominated by our Rattle Snake director, Charlotte Bennett for Put Her Forward, an art work that recognises living women who have done remarkable things to positively impact the people around them. Catrina has been one of the 25 incredible women selected to be 3D scanned and printed into a small sandstone figure.
There are 925 public statues in the UK. 158 of these are women, and of these only 25 are of non-mythical, non-royal women. Now, there’s Our Catrina. A big reveal will happen soon and we’ll keep you posted.
