Be an activist. Join the movement.
Open Clasp is looking for an experienced, highly organised and motivated project coordinator to join our small, but mighty team.
The Project Coordinator will plan, organise and co-ordinate a broad range of projects from supporting the creative producer around our planned ‘programme of work’, to supporting our delivery team on training contracts, and setting up projects with community groups.
At Open Clasp our aim is to Change the World, One Play at a Time by placing theatre at the heart of transforming the lives of disadvantaged women and girls. We make truthful, risk taking, and award-winning theatre informed by the lived experiences of all women and girls. We are feminist. We fight for the rights of women and girls. We challenge injustice where we find it and stand as an ally with marginalised communities experiencing discrimination.
You will have a desire to advocate for change in the areas of inclusion, diversity and the rights of women and girls to equality and fairness. You will have experience of coordinating complex projects and monitoring their impact. We are a fast–paced company so you will need to have strong listening skills, an eagerness to learn and an open mind to develop and share ideas as part of a collaborative team. You will have a passion for the arts and its ability to bring about positive changes in people’s lives.
