Open Clasp Win Tonic Award 2019

“Through this award Open Clasp is celebrated as role models, two decades of theatre holding the voices of incredible women from the North of England. Our work has been celebrated globally reaching 107,536 people in 35 countries and 6 continents. We have not done this alone; our partners in youth and community, academics, funders etc. all invest and continue to strive, all of us working together to make the best theatre we can to make change a reality. We celebrate this evening the strength, talent and resilience of all the women over the past 20 years who have put their trust in Open Clasp to tell their stories and to future generations of theatre makers that put women centre stage.” Catrina McHugh MBE
