#GivingTuesdayNow #GTN #DeafAwarenessWeek
For this extra Giving Tuesday we would like you to join us and support us in giving away our BSL version of Rattle Snake, interpreted by Caroline Ryan.
Why is this our #GTN campaign?
- When Rattle Snake was free online for #16Days in Nov ’19, the BSL community shared, shouted and used the work to support their community. We want to reach out now and ‘Give’ something back.
- It is #DeafAwarenessWeek and we want to raise awareness that Deaf women are twice as likely as their hearing peers to suffer domestic abuse.
- During #lockdown Open Clasp team has undertaken a course in BSL individually to help us think about how our work can be more accessible.
You can Pay What You Feel by donating HERE. All donations received on #GivingTuesdayNow will go on the work we do to make our theatre more accessible.
If you, or someone you know, is a survivor or surviving domestic abuse, please see below for sources of information and support. Click on the links next to the service provider.
